Behörden, insurers, banks and collection agencies write in a register that is difficult even for native speakers. Resolve reads the letter, explains who wrote it and what they want, lists what you have to do, and puts every deadline in front of you before it passes.

How it works

  • Scan. The document scanner captures the letter — single page or several.
  • Read on the device. Text recognition runs on your iPhone. The photograph itself is never uploaded, and it is removed once the text has been read.
  • Protect. Account numbers, tax and social-insurance identifiers, ID and card numbers are masked on the device, before anything is sent for analysis.
  • Explain. The protected text is turned into a plain-language summary: sender, what they want, amounts, what you must do, and by when.
  • Remember. Deadlines become reminders, and the letter is filed in an archive that stays on your device.

Privacy is the architecture, not the marketing

Resolve can make three specific commitments because of how it is built, not because of how it is described:

  • The document is read on your iPhone. Text recognition is performed by the operating system, on the device.
  • Sensitive identifiers are removed before analysis. Masking happens on the device; the service that produces the explanation independently rejects any request that still contains them.
  • The original document is never sent to the AI service. Only the masked text leaves your iPhone, it is processed transiently, and it is not stored on our servers.

No account is required to use Resolve — there is nothing to breach. The full disclosure is in the Resolve privacy policy.

What Resolve is not

  • It is not legal advice. Resolve explains what a letter says and what it asks for. It does not tell you what you should legally do, and it does not replace a lawyer or a Beratungsstelle.
  • It is not infallible. Recognition and explanation can be wrong, especially on faint print or unusual layouts. When the text is too fragmentary to be sure, Resolve says so instead of guessing.
  • It does not act for you. It never sends anything to an authority on your behalf.
